This product is an aftermarket pump part made by Maymom to be used with breast pumps with closed systems such as Spectra S1, S2, 9, Medela Freestyle, Medela Swing-maxi, Ameda Purely Yours, and Avent Comfort. However, it is not compatible with the original flange of S1/S2 pumps and should not be used with the Medela Pump in Style pump.

The backflow protector is designed to connect between Medela PersonalFit Connectors, Medela one-piece breastshields, Medela Harmony connectors, Maymom breastshields (narrow and wide versions), and various tubes such as Spectra tubing, Avent tubing, and Ameda tubing. It is not compatible with the original wide-mouth Spectra flange and should not be used with strong force, as it may break the stem of the backflow protector.
